BOC Sureflow promotes cellar space solution at Pub & Bar show

BOC Gases : 21 September, 2006  (Company News)
The licensed trade can now offer customers a wider range of beers without a cellar full of different mixed gases cylinders thanks to BOC Sureflow
However, BOC Sureflow will demonstrate at this year’s Pub & Bar at Olympia in London from March 30 to April 1how its unique SureBlend and SureBlend Ultra mixed gas solution system saves not only time and money, but cellar space.

A SureBlend standard system, designed for medium-sized outlets, produces all the mixtures needed for beer dispense from only Suregas (carbon dioxide) and Suremix 30 (a 30 per cent carbon dioxide and 70 per cent nitrogen mixture). This is a flexible gas dispense system that can adapt to the growth of any business and allows customers to take on or promote new beers at any time.

The SureBlend Ultra, the premier system in the SureBlend range, is more suitable for larger, high-volume outlets. This system works on the same mixed gas blending principles, but has a greater capacity because it works off up to four large cylinders at a time. A secondary regulator can be fitted to this system if carbon dioxide is needed for soft drinks dispense.

An additional advantage with SureBlend Ultra is the simple cylinder switch. With the flick of a lever, users can change from empty to full cylinders, and never have to move the large cylinders.

Alan Bassett, BOC Sureflow’s area manager, said: 'With the ever-increasing demand for a greater range of mixtures, a SureBlend system will cut out any confusion about which gases to stock and which ones to use for which beer. The quality of both gas and cylinder can significantly affect the quality of products dispensed over the bar. Poor blends of gas can mean poor quality beers and dissatisfied customers.

'With BOC’s SureBlend system quality is assured as there only two types of gas, each with a different valve connection, there is no possibility of connecting the wrong gas to the wrong line and spoiling the beer. And the blends produced are consistent and accurate ensuring perfect pint presentation time after time. With this system there are fewer cylinders to store on site and less manual handling, making life simpler and safer for you and your staff.'

At the Pub & Bar show, BOC Sureflow, the UK's largest and most respected supplier of carbon dioxide and carbon dioxide/nitrogen mixtures for soft drinks and beer dispense, will supply all dispensing gases to the show’s main bar from a SureBlend Ultra system.

'BOC Sureflow is at the forefront in developing innovative gas dispense equipment which can use less cylinders and be more reliable and safer to use. These dispense technologies, particularly those using larger cylinders, can help to dispense beer or soft drinks at a faster rate, reduce fobbing and save time by reducing the hassle of changing over cylinders.

'I invite visitors to the show to pay a visit to BOC Sureflow's cellar area at the main bar and see these dispensing technologies in action and on display', added Bassett.
