Diemaking rules from stock

Sandvik Coromant UK : 06 June, 2000  (Company News)
Sandvik Saxon, the specialist manufacturer of precision steel rules for cutting, creasing and perforating in the packaging industries has announced the launch of a range of stainless steel rules from stock.
Produced specifically for use in hygienic or controlled cleanliness environments, the new stainless rules are designed for processing and packaging applications in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and any other industry where hygiene and cleanliness standards have to be met. The key benefits of Sandvik Saxon's stainless rules are non-rusting, formability and an ability to be cleaned or washed down on line.

Sandvik Saxon is part of the steelmaking group, AB Sandvik Steel and as a result uses the precision stainless steel strip produced in its own mills in Sweden. Together with a guarantee of high quality the company is claiming a first in the UK by offering stainless diemaking rules from stock. The rules are supplied centre bevelled with a ground edge and in cut lengths or coils. All are produced at a standard 23.80mm high and are available in a range of three thicknesses - 0.7mm, 1.00mm and 1.50mm.

As part of its launch programme, Sandvik Saxon is offering free sample pieces of its new stainless rule. For more information contact Sandvik Saxon, Great Central Way, Rugby, Warwickshire CV21 3XH. Tel: 01788 542380, Fax: 01788 541770.
