DSM Engineering Plastics has added two members to their Stanyl Team in Europe, as part of the company |

DSM Engineering Plastics has added two members to their Stanyl Team in Europe, as part of the company’s mission to grow the team’s resources in product management, customer service and technical support in Europe and worldwide.
The new team members are Anne Bergsma, General Product Manager, Stanyl Europe and Paul Habets, Application Development Manager, Stanyl Europe.
Anne Bergsma succeeds Marco van der Sanden as General Product Manager, Stanyl Europe. In his new position, Anne is responsible for the Stanyl compounds business in Europe as well as being a member of the global Stanyl marketing team. He began his career with DSM in 1997 as Product Specialist, with a focus on vinyl esters and heat-resistant hybrid resins. Since 2000, he has held the position of Technical Sales Manager in Spain and Portugal for DSM Composite Resins.
Anne received a master’s degree in Business Administration in 2003 from the IESE Business School of Navarra, Spain, and a Master of Arts degree in 1996 from the European Association for Science, Society and Technology, Maastricht University/Universidad Autonoma de Madrid with specialisation in Innovation Management.
In 1995 he earned a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, with specialisation in Structural Optimisation/Composite Materials.
In addition, Paul Habets has been appointed Application Development Manager Broadening Customer Base, Stanyl Europe as an additional resource for the Stanyl Team Europe in this field. From 2000 to 2004, Paul served as Technology Manager on the Supply Base Management Team Plastics and Packaging for Philips Consumer Electronics. In this position he was senior project manager for Plastics and Packaging supply chain-related projects.
Paul worked for DSM previously from 1994 to 2000, more recently as Design Engineer at the DSM Design and Application Development Centre in Geleen, the Netherlands. Earlier he held the position of Material and Mechanical Specialist with DSM Research.Paul earned a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Production Technology from the Hogeschool Limburg in 1994. Since then he has completed post-graduate study in Plastics Technology from PTO Utrecht. |
