An integral magnetic gas valve provides automatic gas control for ease of use and the DC supply means that copper, nickel, titanium, mild and low-alloyed steels, as well as stainless steels down to 0.5mm thick are all readily welded with Caddy Tig HF.
Ideal for on-site fabrication, or repair and maintenance where access with larger equipment is limited, the versatile, rugged machine, weighing just 5.9kg is IP23 approved for outdoor operation. Requiring only a single-phase supply, Caddy Tig HF is easy to use and to set, with all basic settings being controlled by a single knob and push button on the front panel.
In MMA mode the Caddy Tig HF is able to weld most metals, including mild and low-alloyed steels, stainless steels and cast iron with stick electrodes up to 3.25mm diameter, and up to 4mm for certain applications. Additional control is provided by hot-start (% of welding current) and arc-force (% of welding current) settings.
Caddy Tig HF is available with a range of accessories to suit individual applications or can be supplied by ESAB as a ready to use kit, including power supply, TIG torch, 1.6mm electrode, MMA welding kit and return cable. |
