The new Prowelder 160 and Prowelder 250 microprocessor controlled TIG power sources from ESAB provide both high quality welding and increased productivity.
Programmed from a separate unit with easy to understand symbols and function designations, Prowelder 160 and 250 units can have welding programmes divided into several sections, with the optimum parameters being able to be selected within each sector.
The programmer is connected by field bus to give simplicity and time-savings due to fewer cables being required and means less sensitivity to disturbances. The unit features a large display for easy operation and allows the user to control more than one welding parameter.
Welding programmes can be stored in the machine's memory bank and from there transferred on to a PC-card for storage, or may be transmitted to other Prowelder power sources via the PC-card.
Built to withstand use in industrial environments, the robust machines have a large current range of 5, 160A (Prowelder 160) and 5, 250A (Prowelder 250). For heavier duty applications, both machines can be used with a separate ESAB cooling unit OCF 2M.
Suitable for use with the new welding heads PRB, PRH, POC and the A25 component system with manual/floating slides, Prowelder 160 and 250 can also be used with the ME1 21 wire feed unit. Prowelder is also compatible with the Weldoc WMS 4000 welding monitoring documentation system. |
