Great Lakes Chemical Corporation : 26 October, 2001  (New Product)
Great Lakes Chemical Corporation has expanded its range of Lowilite benzotriazole UV absorbers, which protect polymers against the devastating effects of UV radiation.
Great Lakes Chemical Corporation has expanded its range of Lowilite benzotriazole UV absorbers, which protect polymers against the devastating effects of UV radiation.

Under the trade name Lowilite, Great Lakes now offers a complete range of UV absorbers. The existing range of products consisting of Lowilite 26, 27, 28, and 55 has been extended to include Lowilite 29, 35, and 36. This expansion now allows Great Lakes to offer our customers UV protection for the majority of polymer applications.

These high molecular weight, low volatility additives are used across an extremely wide variety of polymers and applications, including engineering thermoplastics, styrenics, polyolefins, PVC, polyamide, fibres, elastomers, acrylics, and polyurethane, to counteract the deteriorating effects of the sun and its UV radiation.
