ExxonMobil Chemical introduces synesstic AN blendstocks

Synesstic AN Blendstocks are a unique class of API Group V category fluids manufactured to deliver improved hydrolytic, thermal and oxidative stability compared with other Group V fluids. When used as a blendstock with other synthetic fluids such as polyalphaolefins, Synesstic AN products can enhance the stability and performance of many industrial and automotive lubricants in extreme as well as routine conditions.
ExxonMobil Chemical, the world's leading supplier and marketer of synthetic basestocks, announced the availability of Synesstic Alkylated Naphthalene Blendstocks to enhance the performance of synthetic lubricants.

Synesstic AN Blendstocks are a unique class of API Group V category fluids manufactured to deliver improved hydrolytic, thermal and oxidative stability compared with other Group V fluids. When used as a blendstock with other synthetic fluids such as polyalphaolefins, Synesstic AN products can enhance the stability and performance of many industrial and automotive lubricants in extreme as well as routine conditions.

For applications ranging from compressor oils and hydraulic fluids to high temperature greases, Synesstic AN Blendstocks' low- and high-viscosity configurations offer:
step-out hydrolytic stability
outstanding thermal and oxidative stability superior to mineral oils, PAO, diesters, and alkyl benzenes
excellent additive solubility
compatibility with a wide range of elastomers
non-emulsive properties.

Synesstic AN Blendstocks are also highly stable, requiring no special equipment for safe handling or storage.
