Honeywell today introduced several additions to its thermostat family; one to fit every application, every budget and every customer's specific needs.
The FocusPRO 6000 is a new programmable thermostat featuring an easy-to-read digital, backlit display that shows the room and set temperatures. Honeywell also announced a new FocusPRO 5000 model, as well as the PRO 3000 and PRO 4000 thermostats, which provide basic home comfort control.
The FocusPRO 6000 provides precise comfort control (+/- 1 degree Fahrenheit), and when used correctly, can help homeowners save up to 33 percent on their heating and cooling bills. It features weekday and weekend programming: homeowners can use as a 5-1-1, or 5-2 depending on lifestyle. The display is available in large (the largest backlit screen in its class) and standard sizes. Built-in instructions help homeowners program their thermostats with ease.
FocusPRO 6000 has a five year warranty and can be installed in a wide range of heating and cooling applications, including forced warm air, heat pumps, hot water, 750-millivolt, steam and gravity systems. It can be configured up to 2 heat/2 cool, 1 heat/1 cool, heat only and cool only applications.
The new FocusPRO 5000 digital non-programmable thermostat can be configured up to 2 heat/2 cool conventional and heat pump. All FocusPRO models feature a flip-out door that allows for easy battery replacement without removing or disassembling the thermostat.
'Contractors have told us that they feel comfortable offering FocusPRO because of its simplicity and its brand name. Honeywell has been a leader in home comfort for decades and it's a name customers trust,' said Pat Tessier, product manager. |
