The Matrox MED Series line of display controller boards include a variety of color and grayscale models with analog and digital display support, and a scope of display configurations for landscape and portrait modes ranging from two through five megapixels, such as the MED2mp-DVI, MED3mp-DVI, MED5mp-DVI, and MED5mp. Representing a top-to-bottom solution designed to meet the demanding needs of medical imaging professionals, the MED Series boards come equipped with Matrox's multi-monitor features, such as Multi-Pivot/Portrait and MultiDesk, and the ultimate in visual quality and reliability.

Ensuring consistent video display performance, VeriLUM provides an easy and efficient way for users to judge whether or not a video display system is functioning normally, or is in need of adjustment or replacement. VeriLUM can be used for acceptance testing of a video display, tracking consistent video display performance over time, or performing gamma correction in conformance with the DICOM Part 14 Grayscale Standard Display Function or any other user-defined luminance response model.
