IP Control Ltd has become the latest company to join the growing number of ABB HVAC partners, providing full field replacement of any failed drives, if necessary within six hours.

Offering ABB drives and fast service to customers in South West England and South Wales, IP Control is a specialist HVAC drives company, set up three years ago to solve the problems normally faced by customers implementing drive solutions.

Mark Collett, IP Control's Sales Director, says: 'We found that users were buying drives from a variety of sources and having a great deal of trouble installing them and getting them to work correctly. We set up IP Control to offer a full package, from design and installation, to support and training. This way, we can ensure successful HVAC drive installations.'

The company offers a complete service, from assessing the customer's needs, to designing the solution, sourcing and installing the drive and maintaining it once it is in operation. If a drive goes down, IP Control can have a replacement up and working within six hours from the extensive stock of ABB drives.

The company counts a number of hospitals among its regular customers, uninterrupted operation of critical drives is crucial to them and a fast response is vital when problems occur.

Problem solving for customers is the driving force behind IP Control and one of the major reasons the company decided to become part of the ABB HVAC partner network. 'ABB sell a great range of drives with innovative features and high quality. They also have the resources to help with any technical problems that may occur,' says Collett.

ABB has also shown its commitment to the HVAC drives users with the dedicated standard drive for HVAC, which Collett says has helped increase IP Control's sales by over 50 percent and is proving very popular with his customers.
