The AuroraVX Series of display controller boards maximize display output options, powering up to three displays from a single low-profile PCI Express board. The AuroraVX Series supports a Navigation Console up to a resolution of 2 MP, along with two Twin Imaging Displays of up to 3 MP each.
'This bundled offering can now provide an easily-integrated solution to our customers who combine our diagnostic displays with our review and referral displays,' says Todd Fender, product line manager, NEC Display Solutions of America, Inc. 'Our customers will also benefit from the excellent performance provided by this PCI Express solution and the small form factor it delivers.'
Equipped with Hardware Pivot, the AuroraVX Series of display controller boards is capable of driving various combinations of color and grayscale displays in portrait and/or landscape modes, and features an 8- or 10-bit display output for 256 or 1024 simultaneous shades of gray, depending on the available displays attached. Providing medical imaging professionals with versatile multi-display options, the AuroraVX Series offers excellent performance and stunning image quality, ideal for Picture Archiving and Communications Systems, and a variety of modalities such as X-Ray imaging, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Digital Radiography.
'A Matrox AuroraVX3mp solution with NEC displays offers customers a simplified approach to configuration, installation and maintenance within a PACS enterprise environment,' says George Rigas, business development manager, medical imaging, Matrox Graphics Inc. 'The Matrox AuroraVX Series of display controller boards provide a great combination of price/performance, convenience and multi display output that customers are looking for.'
The NEC MultiSync MD Series offers radiologists an unprecedented level of performance for diagnostic imaging and Picture Archiving Communication System applications. Among the many qualities that differentiate the MultiSync MD Series from other diagnostic imaging LCDs on the market is NEC's revolutionary, patent-pending X-LightÔ technology. X-Light technology continuously monitors the luminance and whitepoint of the display's backlight and realigns these settings to maintain the factory calibration throughout the life of the monitor. |
