At the Vision Show East in Boston, Massachusetts, Matrox Imaging celebrated the fifth anniversary of the Matrox 4Sight vision system with the announcement of the new Matrox 4Sight M, the third-generation of the self-contained imaging platform.
Matrox 4Sight M offers the same level of integration as its predecessor, the highly successful 4Sight-II, and is equipped with either an Embedded Intel Celeron M or Pentium M processor. 4Sight M also features an ATA-100 hard drive, faster memory, and support USB 2.0 and Gigabit Ethernet.
Optional frame grabbers are available for purchase with Matrox 4Sight M for image acquisition from a wide variety of analog sources, digital RS-422/LVDS, Camera Link, or IEEE 1394 IIDC.
Windows XP Embedded and the Matrox Imaging Library are pre-installed on the unit, so users can simply load and execute an application. |
