Today at Vision 2004, Matrox Imaging announced three new additions to the Matrox Iris P-Series family of programmable smart cameras designed for professional developers and OEMs. The Iris P300C, Iris P700 and Iris P1200 join the Iris P300 with its monochrome 640 x 480 30 fps ¼'-type CCD sensor that was announced in February 2004. Iris P300C offers a color 640 x 480 30 fps ¼'-type CCD sensor, Iris P700 includes a monochrome 1024 x 768 20 fps 1/3'-type CCD sensor and Iris P1200 offers a monochrome 1280 x 1024 7.5 fps ½'-type CCD sensor.
All models are powered by an Ultra Low Power Celeron, an embedded Intel architecture processor. They run the Windows CE .NET real-time operating system and are programmed using Microsoft eMbedded Visual C++. OEMs and integrators can develop their applications with the Matrox Imaging Library, the industry's ultimate toolbox for image processing solutions, and run them directly on Matrox Iris P-Series. |
