Matrox MED Series 10-bit display controller boards to be supported with Fenics Quick Viewer software

The Matrox MED Series of display controllers brings advanced functionality and flexibility to the medical imaging market with extensive multi-monitor support, high image quality and robust drivers. Matrox Graphics Inc., the leading manufacturer of graphics solutions for professionals, today announced that Fenics has adapted its Quick Viewer PACS software to support the 10-bit simultaneous display capability of the Matrox MED Series 10-bit display controller boards, based on the Matrox Imaging Library software development toolkit.

The Matrox MED Series of display controllers brings advanced functionality and flexibility to the medical imaging market with extensive multi-monitor support, high image quality and robust drivers. Compatible with all display types and with support for OpenGL in grayscale, the Matrox MED Series boasts the widest range of grayscale and color, resolution and operating system support on the market, making it an ideal solution for medical imaging professionals demanding the highest level of flexibility, quality, software compatibility and product features.

The Matrox MED Series of display controllers represents a top-to-bottom solution configurable for landscape and portrait modes ranging from two through five mega pixels. This includes the MED2mp-DVI, MED3mp-DVI and MED5mp-DVI, as well as a variety of grayscale and color models with analog and digital display support. Designed to meet the demanding needs of medical imaging professionals, the MED Series boards come equipped with Matrox's multi-monitor features, such as Multi-Pivot and Portrait, and the ultimate in visual quality and reliability.
