Moldflow Corporation, the world leader in software and hardware solutions for optimizing the design and manufacture of plastic products, today announced the immediate availability of Moldflow Magics STL Expert 2.0. New product features include Japanese local language support for both the user interface and on-line help and enhancements to the STL Fixing Wizard which improve usability and effectiveness.
Moldflow Magics STL Expert displays, measures, corrects and optimizes standard triangulation language and solid surface models imported from 3D CAD/CAM systems in preparation for analysis. Moldflow Magics STL Expert can be used to quickly validate STL models and resolve any identified problems prior to analyzing with Moldflow Plastics Advisers (MPA) products. Additional new features in Moldflow Magics STL Expert include the integration of the Moldflow Product Security system to consolidate license key installation and management with other Moldflow software products and the ability to output optimized models in Moldflow's unified data model model format as well as STL format.
'The release of Moldflow Magics STL Expert 2.0 confirms Moldflow's commitment to providing best-in-class, local language solutions to our growing customer base in Japan,' said Murali Annareddy, product line manager at Moldflow. 'Our customers, who use STL geometry as their analysis model starting point, now have a more robust and efficient tool they can leverage to ensure the integrity of the geometry input to the analysis.' |
