“The academic world is of huge importance in the field of engineering analysis” said Tim Morris, Chief Operating Officer of NAFEMS, “NAFEMS recognises the important contribution that universities make in educating the simulation users of tomorrow and inspiring those who study engineering to pursue a career which uses the technology. We want to encourage students to push the boundaries of these techniques through innovative applications and practical useage, and we feel that NAFEMS and the industry as a whole has a responsibility to recognise and reward the achievements made in the academic world”
