New plasma cutting machine for sheetmetal

E-Vent is a new high speed plasma cutting machine from ESAB Automation designed specifically for sheetmetal ductwork production and the heating and ventilation industry. E-Vent is linked to special programming system that provides a library of commonly used shapes in ductwork production, thereby providing the user with the ability to fabricate a range of parts simply and quickly.
E-Vent is a new high speed plasma cutting machine from ESAB Automation designed specifically for sheetmetal ductwork production and the heating and ventilation industry. E-Vent is linked to special programming system that provides a library of commonly used shapes in ductwork production, thereby providing the user with the ability to fabricate a range of parts simply and quickly.

E-Vent is a compact machine that can achieve 20 metres/minute cutting speeds thanks to twin rack and pinion longitudinal AC drives. It can cut materials including mild stainless steel and aluminium up to 16mm thick. Its modular build allows material up to 2m x 8m to be cut and with the plasma process clean, dross free cuts are achieved. A marking facility can also be provided.

The combination of high speed, high quality plasma cutting slashes costs per cut metre and can also save around 15% on production times. Optimised cutting is achieved by easy to use cutting data supported by the CNC control. New literature is available on E-Vent by calling 01264 332233.
