Quadrant EPP : 01 October, 2003  (Company News)
Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products' Commercial Director, Earl Wester has announced the following organizational changes.
Mike Oliveto has accepted the position of Manager - Custom Castings and Components. In this new role he will work with OEM engineers on new applications using Quadrant's nylon casting and material technology. In addition, he will work with technical machining companies nationally to develop new markets for machined parts in Quadrant materials.

In his 16 years with Quadrant, Mr. Oliveto has held several commercial and technical positions. Most recently he was Manager - Technical Service and Application Development. In that capacity, he led Quadrant's activities on part design and material specifications, as well as technical support for machining companies and distributors. Mike also helped develop and conduct Quadrant's materials seminars for OEM's, machinists and distributors,

Mike received his B.S. in engineering from Drexel University. He and his wife and their three children live in the Reading, PA area.

At the same time we are pleased to announce that Jim Hebel has taken over Mike's former duties in application development and tech service, effective immediately.

Jim comes to the position with an extensive background in application engineering and in Quadrant materials and production. Prior to joining Quadrant in 2000, he spent 10 years in application engineering in both military and industrial companies. His three years' experience at Quadrant were spent managing nylon casting operations at Quadrant's North American HQ site in Reading, PA. Jim's many years of practical engineering experience will complement his strong technical and operations experience.

Jim received his B.S. from Virginia Tech and a Masters degree in mechanical engineering from Catholic University. He, his wife and their three children reside near Reading, PA.
