This proprietary process has been developed by DuPont to pre-treat Delrin acetal resins for metallisation or painting.
Specially designed to prepare Delrin acetal resin substrates for decorative finishes, Delrin Etch acetal etching solution works not only for painted coatings, but also for electroplating with precious or functional metal finishes. Pre-treatment with Delrin Etch acetal etching solution results in excellent final adhesion of the metal deposit or paint. After treatment Delrin acetal resin has a uniform surface appearance, which ensures a bright and even finish. Delrin Etch acetal etching solution is easy to use, easily regenerated and environmentally friendly.
Delrin and Delrin Etch are registered trademarks or trademarks of E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company used under license by Shipley Europe Ltd. |
