Stadco, Europe's leading automotive body-in-white specialist, has dramatically enhanced its engineering capability through its acquisition in 2004 of the former Mayflower Vehicle Systems business.
The new Stadco Engineering team, which brings together the global resources and skills of both Stadco and MVS, has a tremendous track record, most recently proven in the mould-breaking body and spaceframe of the advanced Ford GT project (with its roots in the legendary Ford GT 40).
'Our Engineering team specializes in fast track engineering programs and our developments in the use of virtual tools give us the capability to deliver zero prototype programs as was the case with the Ford GT', says Paul Jaggers Product Engineering Director for Stadco.
Based in Coventry, Stadco Engineering gives the company newfound strengths in body engineering, enabling it to win new business calling on a 'total solutions' approach to support a program from Initial vehicle concepts and styling to production.
Stadco's customers can now benefit from the full service 'turnkey' capabilities of the enhanced organization, offering fast track, simulation lead development in both product development and manufacturing. |
