Vishay Intertechnology, Inc, has announced the release of four new package options in its ILBBseries of multilayer ferrite beads. Now available in a total of seven surface-mount package types, the new ILBBdevices allow designers to reduce electromagnetic interference in a wide range of telecommunications, computer, and automotive applications.
Impedance values (Z) for the ILBBseries range from 7 Ω to 2200Ω, with a ±25% impedance tolerance. Maximum DC resistance ranges from 0.05 Ω to 1.00 Ω, with rated dc currents from 50 mA to 600 mA.
Vishay is adding 0402, 1210, 1806, and 1812 options to the ILBB series, which was originally introduced in 0603, 0805, and 1206 versions. All seven package types feature a−55°C to +125°C operating temperature range, boosting reliability in rugged applications. A nickel barrier coating further increases reliability by eliminating virtually all silver migration. Packaging for the ILBBseries is magnetically self-shielded and features terminal strengths from 0.2 kg to 1.5 kg.
The ILBBferrite beads will be used to reduce electromagneticinterference in input/output ports, DC power lines, and signal lines in a wide range of end products.
Samples and production quantities of the ILBB multilayer ferrite bead are available now, with lead times of six to eight weeks for larger orders. |
