Cardiff University : 06 September, 2006  (Technical Article)
The decision to invade Iraq, the separation of conjoined twins and the governance of the Internet are among the topics under scrutiny in an important new book from researchers at Cardiff University.
The decision to invade Iraq, the separation of conjoined twins and the governance of the Internet are among the topics under scrutiny in an important new book from researchers at Cardiff University.

Ethics, Law and Society brings together contributions from international experts, many of them Cardiff-based, on a wide range of subjects, including long-standing issues and others of more particular recent relevance.

The articles were commissioned by the Cardiff Centre for Ethics, Law and Society, an interdisciplinary research centre based in Cardiff Law School and drawing on expertise from other academic schools across the University.

The book is edited by the Centreís Director, Professor Soren Holm and its co-ordinator Dr Jennifer Gunning.

'Themes running through several of the articles include the environment and sustainability, as well as medical ethics and human rights,' said Dr Gunning.

'The intention is to provide a thought-provoking collection of ideas and analyses, which will be of interest to practitioners and academics in business, law, medicine, planning and many other areas.'
