ESAB has published a new 'Repair and Maintenance Welding Brochure', which details a range of MMA electrodes and cored wires to suit the majority of today's repair and maintenance applications.
Some of the key products from the extensive programme of consumables include the following OK 21.03 which is for gouging, cutting and piercing applications.
For the joining of difficult to weld and dissimilar steels, ESAB offers the OK 68.81, OK Autrod 16.75, OK 67.45 and OK Tubrodur 14.71.
For rebuilding, or for restoring worn parts back to their original form, the OK 83.28 and OK Tubrodur 15.41 are recommended. OK 84.58, OK Tubrodur 15.52, OK 84.78 and OK Tubrodur 14.70 are designed for the hard-facing of working parts. These products have been developed to combine impact and wear resistant qualities.
For use on cast iron OK 92.18, OK 92.58 and OK Tubrodur 15.66 are ideal products, while OK 94.25 and OK Autrod 19.40 are for use on bronzes.
For applications involving manganese steel, the brochure recommends the OK 86.08 and OK Tubrodur 15.60. For use on aluminium alloys, ESAB offers the OK 96.50 and the OK Autrod 18.05. |
